This is a one-off speech about Australia on the screen. This has been a big issue with me for a while so I'm finally doing something about it in the hope someone reads it. I hope people in their teens read this as they are the people who can make the biggest difference in my opinion.

The Way It Is
I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. However, that's what they put on their records, and it's what sounds good and looks suitable to their investors. So this is the way it's going to be. So be it! Oh, did I forget to mention the Universe decided I was the lucky girl to help find the one person who could save us all from self-destruction? Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. But after consideration, they don't see the harm in sending one. And realise it might be their only chance.Complete
To survive without them
Have you ever dreamt of a world with no adults? admit it, you thought it would be great right? no-one to tell you what to do or tell you off, but for a young girl of the age of sixteen, this is her life. She must survive to look after her siblings and herself. The world has turned into a crazy place with tribes ruleing and with street fights and the cities damaged. Its a place where kids rule, only its how they chose to survive that can get them through in the end. Its also slightly a romance book as well as a science fiction, Adventure and teen fiction.
