"The Morning Star, Lucifer, Satan... Whichever name he went by, it didn't change the fact that the Ruler of Hell himself was now stealing my Crunchy Nut. Every. Bloody. Morning." Just your average story- girl meets boy, they move in together, and girl discovers boy is the Devil. Wait, what? Nora Priestly thinks she's just helping out a nice guy who doesn't have much when she offers him her spare room. Only, she finds that he has more than a reputation- in the Underworld. As the King. Now, Morgan Sterner has come back to Earth to seek out his half human, half angel child, and Nora is dragged along for the ride. *I would just like to point out that there aspects of this story that may potentially offend or be sensitive to those of you who are religious. That is not my intention at all. Of course, when writing a story with the Devil as a main character, it may offend some people. I, myself, am not religious, but I'm doing my best to research these aspects so that they are handled well and with respect. MELANCHOLY | Melancholy drips from my fingertips. SOON TO BE A PUBLISHED PAPERBACK. COMING 2025! This melancholy drips from my fingertips so slowly, you begin to forget I even exist. All of me, the hard parts of flesh you could never seem to love, drips down the drain. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again. Here, in the pages I find myself, in the ink that writes against my flesh, I will whisper the sadness, the heartache, and the decaying for all of the unspoken. Perhaps under this layer of melancholy, the girl I once knew still exists.    First poetry collection in the series. Original poems based off real life experiences. #12 in poetry.
