Tumango ako,pahiwatig na oo ang sagot ko.Niyakap niya ako ng mahigpit na mahigpit at bumulong sa tenga ko. "Then trust me if I say you'll live again." "Alice.." "I want you to promise me one thing.Pagkatapos nito,gusto kong mabuhay ka ayon sa gusto mo.No regrets,no looking back." Hindi ako nagsalita.I just nodded and hugged her too like it's my last time to do it.Umiiyak na ako at pinilit kong huwag humagulgol ng iyak dahil ayaw kong mag-alala siya. "I promise,Alice.I love you." "I love you too,forever and ever." And she kissed me softly.I kissed her back and it feels like she's saying something through the kiss. My chest tightens and I can't breath.She broke the kiss and looked at me,panic is in her eyes.I tried to smile at her and cup her cheeks and brush away the tears streaming down her lovely face. "I will love you,Alice.'Till my last heart beat." I slowly closed my eyes as the beeping sounds of different kind of machines echoes in the four corner of the room.Alice's scream pierced right through my ears and she's begging me not to close my eyes. Ang tadhana ang pumipili nang taong dapat mong mahalin, hindi ikaw. Kaya kapag siya ang nakatadhanang tao na dapat mong mahalin sa mga oras na 'yan wala ka nang magagawa, kahit nasasaktan ka na mahal mo parin. Hihintayin ko ang araw na mapansin mo rin ang pag-ibig ko para sa'yo. Kahit dumating man ang araw na ikaw mismo ang dudurog sa puso ko. Pero minsan napapagod din ako. Napapagod din akong habulin ka. Napapagod din akong magpapansin sa'yo. Kahit ilang beses ka pang sabihan ng I love you o kahit gaano na kayo katagal na mag-on o kahit gaano mo siya pahalagahan, eventually sasaktan ka niya. Eventually lolokohin ka. Hindi dahil nagkulang ka. Kundi dahil hindi sila nakuntento. I've experienced it first-hand. I used to believe that love is such a wonderful thing. Yung butterflies sa tyan. Yung sparks pag magkaholding hands. Yung suprises na sobrang nakakakilig. Yung sweet little things. Endearments. Monthsary. Anniversary. I love you's. Dates. Nagmahal ako ng sobra. Kaya ang ending, nasaktan din ako ng sobra. Hindi totoo na masarap magmahal. Kung sino man yung nagsabi nun, for sure hindi pa nagmahal ng totoo. Kasi hindi masarap magmahal. Masakit. Sobrang sakit. BERNARDO SERIES 1: ALICIA BERNARDO -" Mahal kita pero yung pagmamahal mo ang hindi ko maintindihan. Mali let me rephrase that mahal mo ba talaga ako o nangungulila ka lang sa kanya.? Naalala mo ba nung nagkasagutan tayo dahil don? Alam ko na sa sarili ko na hindi ka pa handang kalimutan siya pero pinabayaan ko lang kasi akala ko darating din yung time na masasabi mo sa akin na "I already moved on"" -I used to be the one making you smile. Bakit kasi ang gago ko? Narinig ko ang mga halakhak niya na ako dati ang dahilan. I saw how her eyes smile whenever shes very happy. I miss it. I miss her. -"I'm always careful , sa isang bagay lang hindi." Makahulugan niyang sabi bago tumayo at naglakad paakyat. -Someday I can forgive you but now let me enjoy the pain you cost me.
