The threat of war looms over Hiccup's shoulders as he tries to keep the peace between the Dragon Hunters, Defenders of the Wing, and his former tribe, Berk. He left his home ten years ago to live in peace with his dragon, and since then has discovered a world full of magic.
Across the archipelago, dragon attacks mercilessly pound the Berkians, destroying their soil and any chance for surviving the winter. With no other options, Stoick leads and expedition to find the legendary 'Dragon Master' in hopes he can help defeat their enemy.
Arriving at the island however, they quickly learn that the survival of Berk barely crosses the peoples' minds as they continue to fight their own losing battle against an enemy that could destroy the entire realm.
For the sake of their people, Hiccup crosses the barrier that separates the mortal and magical realm and is shocked to find the family secrets that had been frozen in time.

When Hiccup's final test in the Kill Ring does not go as planned, he runs away, sure that nothing he can ever say will change Berk's mind. At least he's not alone though, and with his cousins and several dragons by his side, they leave the archipelago. Of course, not all is smooth sailing and Hiccup's emergence as the Dragon Master earns him more than one enemy. Eventually, it also draws the attention of Berk, who are suffering from increased raids and struggling to survive. Hiccup was planning to run away but now that Astrid knows his secret, he doesn't know what to do. Then Astrid comes up with a crazy idea that might just save them. They leave for good. Or that's what they thought. 7 years later, Hiccup and Toothless along with Astrid and Stormfly crash land on berk and chaos ensues and probably the greatest threat they would ever have to face. Cyryn finds herself in a sticky situation when Hiccup requests her aid to go get his dragon back, everyone knows that Cyryn doesn't do anything with the dragons ever since they killed her parents, that's why she works in the forge with Gobber. But nonetheless, she must help her best friend, after all, she knows just how much this dragon means to him. Little did she know that agreeing to help would lead to her having to mess with dragons as no other Viking has.
