In this book, you will learn the life of Autumn Rides, a 17-year-old teenage girl. But this teen is a bit different. Autumn is mute, she only talks to her mother and sister, as they are the only ones who understand her. She also deals with major anxiety and depression, along with bulimia. She goes to a public school in Baltimore, Western High School, where the usual types of teenagers lay. On the first day of her seiner year, she runs into a new, troublesome student, Alexander Gaskarth. He finds interest in her and tries to get her to open up, but little does he know, people like him made her the way she is now.
