Kaitlynn Williams is a senior at Baker High School. After being made a complete fool of during the summer by her ex "boyfriend" Jared. She decides to get a major make-over by her best friend Nicole. She is known to be a ugly, needy girl who sat at lunch by herself, with no real friends except Nicole. She comes to school looking mysteriously and sexy, and her ex boyfriend tries to show a little interest in her But all at the right moment, it seems. A green-eyed boy who had dark brown spiked hair, who was muscular and tall. Who was a bit mysterious himself in ways Kaitlynn will never understand. When Jared finds out she has interest in the new kid, he tries to embarrass her in front of the whole school because of her rejection to him. Kaitlynn fights back, with a little help from Brennon, the new kid. Kaitlynn doesn't expect the find out he has something to hide. Not just from her, but from the whole human race. He's not just ANY human. He tells me I am different. But while trying to find out what he means by that, she starts to envelope some special powers she'd rather not have at all. But when she tries to seek something to help her learn about this, she finds that all her questions are answered.
