You had gone searching for the paranormal, believing that the worst you'd face was death. What you found was more than enough to banish such naivety. Death is a mercy for the hunted, a sanctuary for the tormented, and a respite from the unspeakable things of the world. No, death was not the worst thing you were destined to face. No... the only thing you found was despair, obsession, and greed. The only thing you found... were monsters.
