"You and I both have to forgive the past you for her mistakes as we have forgiven me for mine, Sumo. Only then we will be able to move on," he whispered, gently taking hold of her hand as he looked down at her with a tender smile.
"And, please, don't be so harsh on the past you, she was my best friend before you. I may be more attached to her than I am to you," he said, teasing her as his eyes crinkled in amusement.
