Hello everyone! This is a short story I wrote for my English language course. I've been working on/thinking about this universe idea for a while now and I finally know how to start it off. Not totally sure what I wanna do with it, but I know I wanna take it further and develop it.
It's set in New York City (I will say that I've never been there, so don't expect complete accuracy, but I am from a big city so the concept isn't totally foreign to me). It starts with Jinx (James) Little driving in the seemingly routine inner-city traffic. But there's something nagging at the back of his mind - a deep, powerful fear for his friend, Seb. How worried does Jinx need to be?
I wanted to put this up on Wattpad to see how it goes. Let me know what you think.

Moth.
Moth Vee Patel is in his last year of high school- this is a story about him, his friends and the people in their lives. This is a story about a he/him nonbinary gay intersex Indian person living in the east coast and his life from senior year to after and his group of friends and the love of his life Sky-so Moth won't be the only character who gets screen time. I'm not trans, intersex, Indian,, anytime of other Asian, Jewish or gay but I'll try my best- I want to write more trans stories to make up for all the bad crap I did towards people on here who were trans(accidental migendering and my terrible trans fanfics.) Also I made this book after making a character in a character creator game. No sexual stuff until the characters are older. Also just a heads up Moth isn't a girl- so don't put this book in a wlw reading list-Moth is not a man but Moth also isn't a woman also Moth likes men not women.Complete

(INCOMPLETE) Of Ink And Flowers - A LGBTQIA+ Love Story
Lufi Muhamad, an insomniac college dropout with mild anxiety, opens up a Tattoo Parlor right across the street from a small Flower Shop. The day after opening, he finds a bouquet on the doorstep of his parlor. He looks across the street and sees a blue-eyed boy with dirty blonde hair opening the flower shop, and something within him stirs. Deimos Alexander, a hyper ADHD 20-year-old, was shocked when he realized that a new business had opened up across the street. He looked in the window and saw (In his best friend's words) an "Emo in the wild" tattooing someone. He makes a bouquet for him and places it on his porch step. He almost dropped his coffee the following day when he saw an oil pastel drawing on his welcome mat from the tattoo artist. Trigger Warning: While this book is a majority fluff there are a few angsty bits that face some grim topics including child abuse, dangerous parents, alcohol abuse, homophobia, transphobia, and harassment. This story includes quite a bit of swearing as well (blame my trucker dad for that) so viewer discretion is advised. No Smut whatsoever in this book. (I love y'all but I'm not putting my ace ass through that torture) If you have an idea for a cute date between characters, a friend group excursion, etc. please comment. I will either try to incorporate it in the story itself or make a oneshot book. NOTE: There is no specific schedule. Proud ~ a Seblos Fanfiction
He's been off since theater. Not saying much. "Seb, what's wrong?" I ask gently. "There's something I think I need to tell you," he answers meekly. I stop scrubbing the rose case with Windex and go to the edge of the stage. We sit together, our feet dangling off the edge. "I-I need to tell you about a lot of things," he starts. "Okay, I'm listening," I reply. Why am I so scared? When Carlos has a problem, he goes to Seb and Seb takes comfort in fixing them. Carlos trusts Seb... but for some reason he feels as if it isn't the same the other way around. Seb's been keeping secrets, and Carlos needs to find out what they are. He thinks the secrets are hurting Seb, not just mentally, but physically, too. Seb is brave and will probably refuse "Seb, honey, you can't just brush off stuff like this," Carlos corrects me. He sits by me. "You can't just let people hurt you all the time and then go forgive them like it's nothing!" "And why not?" I ask calmly. "B-because-" Carlos stutters. He looks away. "Because then..." "Seb's a good person. The best out of all of us," Big Red comments. I blush. "I don't know. I just always try my best to do the right thing." But at that moment, a thought hits me like a rock to the head. Keeping secrets from Carlos isn't the right thing. I need to tell him the truth. Soon. Seb's been getting bullied, and is having a hard home life. He wants to look brave, but he knows he really needs Carlos. After one painful event at school, Carlos snaps. ¡IMPORTANT!
