Stephanie Rogers is the twin sister of Steve Rogers. Like her brother, she always wanted to fight for her country. Even if she's a woman. But, her and her brother's lack of physical attributes gave them an extreme disadvantage.

So, when German scientist Dr. Abraham Erskine gives them a chance to become super soldiers, they take it. Steve becoming Captain America, and Stephanie, Commander America, they become war heroes. During WWII, while fighting, Steve falls for Peggy Carter, while Stephanie finds out how many social acceptancies she can break. The first: a female war hero. The second: a bisexual war hero, who prefers girls.

What will happen when they fall into ice and are found 70 years later, still alive? Well, Steve was, actually. Stephanie was found by HYDRA and turned into another Winter Soldier. But, she isn't any normal Winter Soldier. Before she went under, she made contact with the Tesseract and it fused with her DNA, making her half Kree. During their time under, the world has changed. Women are now equal to men. Homosexuality is now acceptable. Oh, and superpowers are now pretty common.
