Emma Roberts is queen bee. She rules the school and everyone loves her–except her ex-best friend, Beth. Everything changes when Emma gets offered a job in the school newspaper. She meets awesome friends and realizes that 'dorks' are actually pretty cool, and soon she gets a crush on the biggest dork in the school. but soon, Beth finds out and tells the school she was hanging out with the dorks, and her popular friends start getting upset, and insist she dates the hottest guy in school, John, who 'likes her' Through all this, she still has to remain anonymous in the school paper.
