Att lyckas hålla ryttar livet igång i en kombination med att hålla Matildas och Sebastians relation vid liv blir svårt när "sebbe" inte vågar erkänna för Matilda att han rider. Båda rider men sebbe blir allt mer osäker och konstig när Matilda drar upp just ämnet om hästar. Sebbe blir också med tiden allt mer undandragen då ryttarlivet börjat på allvar.
