I wish the life we lived was easy, maybe even the the stories we tell. Meet Jayla a 16 year old girl only child, beautiful features everything about her everybody loves. Her parents hold her on a pedestal stool and she never gives anybody the time of day. Will high school be a challenge for her? When she finds a boy that she thinks she's in love with will everything change? Will the perfect life she live go downhill? Jayla is a smart girl but makes dumb decisions. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
