After practice, Hinata and Kageyama decide to go to the roof of their highschool. They talk about the meaningless, complain over muscle pains, and bask in the kisses of the moonlight while cicadas sing and wind dances through their fingertips. 

The night couldn't have been better, if it wasn't for aching pain in Hinata's chest. It weighs of rocks and sinks his heart to his stomach. It begs to escape the cage trapped in his lungs; it tries to claw its way out of his throat every time he speaks his classmate's name. It tears him apart, but he can't do anything about it. Especially in front of Kageyama.
