Sasha has grown up with one certainty: She’s not normal.

She sees things in the darkness that no one else can see. But having lost her parents as a child, revealing these abilities might mean the difference of a steady home, and a foster care system.

 Except one night, everything changes.

After finding herself stranded on the wrong side of town, Sasha comes face-to-face with the beings she thought were myth. There she learns that the men of the shadows have a different set of rules, and they don’t always play nice.

As danger rises up around her, Sasha's differences may be the only thing that saves her life. She must embrace what she’s tried so hard to hide, while resisting the thing her body craves most. Sasha has finally found her shadow men, and they will claim her life forever.

They called her the Mad One long before she ever broke. Born into the Night Court with the mark of the Cauldron glowing faintly over her heart, Nerai was never meant to survive. Her father's cruelty forged her power; his torment made her silence infamous. By five, she could command air with a glance. By six, she'd accidentally killed ten courtiers who mocked her mother. By ten, her name was spoken only in whispers - a warning to children of what happened when gods answered too loudly. But Nerai was not mad. She was merely awake. And when war came for her family, it was not death that claimed her - it was the Cauldron itself. Drawn into its depths, her body vanished, her memories stripped away. The Night Court mourned a daughter lost to legend. Centuries later, Prythian trembles. Magic fractures, and silence spreads like a sickness across the courts. The whispers begin again: the Mad One walks. A woman with white hair and silver eyes emerges from the ruins of a forgotten temple - calm, otherworldly, powerful enough to unmake reality with a thought. She does not remember who she was. But the Cauldron does. When Rhysand sends Azriel to trace the strange magic devouring the land, he finds what no one believed possible - the High Lord's sister, alive, unaging, and changed into something beyond mortal or fae. And as the world begins to unravel, one truth becomes clear: the Mad One has returned, and this time, even silence may not save them.

For centuries, the Shadow Wars have raged beneath human eyes-a hidden war between creatures of the night and warriors sworn to stop them. On a blood-soaked battlefield, the last warrior of the Eclipse Order faces his destiny. He has slain his enemies. He has saved his people. But he cannot save her. His one true love dies in his arms, her blood staining the earth, her last breath stolen by the night. Before he can grieve, a figure steps from the mist-an ancient, ageless stranger wielding a blade forged from shadows. With one strike, he pierces the warrior's heart and whispers: "The long night... has only begun." Centuries later, the darkness stirs again in modern-day America. Whispers of cursed bloodlines, forbidden magic, and a prophecy written in ash awaken old powers and older enemies. The warrior has returned. So has the man who killed him. And so has she-but in this life, she doesn't remember him... or the love that damned them both. Will they rewrite their fate this time? Or will the night claim them all?
