"Silence!" He boomed. As I pressed my tiny frame further into the wall shaking.
"N-not until you tell me why I'm here." I managed to squeak out.
"I'll tell you when your ready," He paused, "now be a good little girl and go upstairs" His mischievous eyes dancing with mine as I battled myself whether to leave or to go.
The silence was deafening and I left the room. Defeated by him once again

Well, this is just great. I moved out here to Italy to get away from the melodrama and here I am minding my own business while doing a favor for a "friend". And that's a term I use loosely. Then, all of a sudden I'm finding myself joining an Italian Mafia gang, outnumbered by too many males, and a great big secret happening within the shadows that anybody who tries to find out said secret is met with a violent end.
