I am a 19 year old girl with autism. As autistic person there are a lot of things non-autistic people can tell you. Some are out of curiosity while others might be intended to offend you.

In this book I will discuss 11 things that people with autism are tired of hearing from non-autistic poeple. In each chapter I will give a repsonse to these things by adding some experiences of my own life.

Please share your own experiences, whether you are autistic or not, in the comments. I am always curious to read what other people think.

"You deserve to know." she whispers. ××× "Don't you wanna know how I got locked up?" He asks changing the subject. "Don't have to." "No running through the hallway!" I yelled as two boys ran past me. "Yes Professor." They said as they slowed down. I smiled as I shook my head and continued walking towards my class. "Professor there are two kids fighting at the pool." Rogue , one of my students, said softly. "Thank you for telling me." I said with a smile. "What is going on?" I asked as I made it to the pool and saw Bobby and John fighting. "He started it." John growled out. "Well I'm finishing it, class now or I will send you to the Professor's office." I ordered. "Yes Professor." Bobby said as he walked away. I smiled as I shook my head and walked to my class. "Mom!" A voice yelled. I smiled as I turned to see my five year old daughter run up to me. "Hello Sweetheart, what are you up to?" I asked as I picked her up. "Running from papa." She said with a giggle. I smiled as I saw my husband of twenty years walking towards us.
