I changed it as the story went along because I felt the title needed to be changed. this is the story I am the most proud of as it is my pride and joy on wattpad. it was accepted on this site with open arms even though jack johnson fanfiction was not very popular at the time. I hope you can enjoy this piece of me that I've laid out. also, this cover and all my other ones are hand drawn or created by me so please don't take them.

Alex's wife leaves him with their 3 month old son, she doesn't want to come back. She doesn't like life, and she wishes she'd never been married or had a child. She wanted to go back to life how it used to be, and she wanted to start fresh. She'd signed the court papers for the divorce, and he signed them too, because all he wanted now was his son. She willingly gave him up with no fight, not questions asked, and he didn't dare ask for child support. He wanted her nowhere near his boy. What the fuck was he supposed to do now? It was May, and they'd be touring the US in a fucking month. Alex didn't understand how a person could even do that. He couldn't fathom the mere idea of up and leaving your own family, especially when his parents had walked out on him. Alex was raised by his aunt, who sadly has now passed away. All Alex has left is his son, his band and his best friends/bandmates, namely his best friend of all, and the man he'd been in love with throughout high school and most of their adult lives, Jack. Alex was bisexual,and he often fought with his wife about how he'd been with Jack multiple times, when things just worked out for them, and how he cared more about Jack than her. In most ways, she was right. That's not to say that he didn't love her. He did. Did being extremely past tense. Maybe he and Jack would find their way back to each other with all of this madness. When I thought of writing this, I began reading other people's fanfictions to motivate me back into writing while already having a good idea of what I wanted the story to entail, and the ideas I had for my story @TaesWolfie had already used in her story. I changed a lot of my original ideas so that mine didn't seem like a complete carbon copy rip off of hers while still keeping as many of my original ideas as possible. Since we had such similar ideas I don't see it fair to not credit her in some way. I highly recommend you all read "Just a Feeling", it's so well written and is currently in my private library. I have been on this app for a long time, I've read a lot of great writings of fanfictions, and JoF is genuinely the only one I've read that has evoked such strong emotions from me whilst reading that I actually laughed out loud, cried real tears, etc. It's so well written it's like you're watching the show again but you can actually imagine (Y/n) being there and their place in the storyline. I've always loved when writers make playlists for their stories and plan to do so for this one at some point, and for my future works, @TaesWolfie did it for JoF and it's so good, I have it added on my Spotify right now and I highly recommend it as well.
