Tim Mason feels like the driftwood that the tide forgot. He lives forty meters below the surface of the sea with eight other marine biologists and specialized individuals who work in an underwater habitat. He is the biologist in charge of the health of the reefs for a popular underwater resort. 
Every day, he looks out onto bleached and dying corals. When the resort sets profits over environmental wellbeing, Tim takes the destruction of the ecosystem personally. This starts him down a destructive path of environmental radicalization.
Soon the other team members begin to fear him when certain individuals start to go missing without a trace...
