EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON. That's what they told us when she died, but no one ever questioned the reason. It was always, overdose, a suicide, case closed. We thought it was over, but the past has a way of crawling back, and it doesn't knock. A year later, on the anniversary of her "suicide." we get THAT message. "meet me at noon." Old wounds reopen, and new clues appear. Someone else "commits" suicide. No one is safe when the truth tries to speak.

"I just realised something." I say, breaking the long silence from the journey. "I'm not gonna be too sad if we don't end up finding her." I speak looking straight ahead as I drive down the road, a million thoughts running through my head. I continue, "Maybe cause to travel is better than to arrive. It's actually what has happened along the way that counts; the tears, the falls and the friendship. It's about the journey and not the destination. And I know she'd think the same.
