This is a mortal instruments and infernal devices by Cassandra Clare crossover. Jace and Clary find themselves in 1878-London. They know they must do something there but they don't know what. They meet up with the Shadow hunters from the London institute and seem to be getting along when something happens they did not see coming. Clary has a sister, Serena that has lived in Idris for three years. When Serena has heard the news that Clary got taken to the New York City Institute, she travels to help her sister. She meets the group of shadowhunters Alec, Clary, Isabelle, and Jace. This book is based off of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
