Three members of the New York gang, the Ravens, seem to always be going through something as they finish high school.
Chris Rome joined the Ravens after he ran away from his abusive and crazy mother. He didn't try to stand out too much, no one at school even knew he was a Raven unless they were part of the gang. Not until Rayan, the son of a police officer determined to capture the Raven leader, finds out.
Kimi Lane was a wild child. She didn't listen to adults and got into a lot of fights. The one responsibility Kimi took, was to protect her sister. She didn't realize she would piss off the wrong person in the end.
Aya Lane, the twin sister of Kimi, only joined the Ravens because she couldn't leave Kimi. She didn't steal or sell drugs. Aya actually wanted to be something big when she grew up and studied like there was no tomorrow. Of course, she was too smart for her own good.
