Kakashi is hospitalized after overdosing the night of Obito's birthday. They find out that he had been secretly using drugs as a way to fight off depression. That night he thinks about his life and realizes the effects of his addiction were catching up to him, the regular amounts weren't working and his internal demons were winning.
No one expected him to turn down that path, but it had been the only thing that took the pain away. For just a short while he could forget all his mistakes, be blind to the blood staining his hands, but he'd eventually have to come back down and face the mess he was becoming.

He was just over-reacting, he had to be. This was literally just as simple as him having lost some of his tolerance since the last time he went on a drinking binge and the fact that he was drinking sake that was stronger than what he was used to, the stuff he usually drank coming from sketchier bars that served the shitty stuff the "good" bars didn't want. Not that this bar was good by anyone's standards, they simply didn't care enough to check IDs on people who looked close to the legal age or had ANBU tattoos like himself, which made it good enough . The MC wakes up after a normal day, in the Naruto Verse After quickly coming to terms with his situation, he plans to use Science to dominate the entire world! And he's not stopping at just that.... The MC is a former college student who loves Science, Maths and Anime. He used to study everything about Maths and Science and was very interested in the Naruto world and knew quite a bit about all three. Watch as our protagonist uses his brains and information about the world and science to accomplish feats even the Otsotsuki couldn't imagine doing! However, the path of science is slow and arduous so the MC isn't gonna be op from the get go he will try to figure out the different types chakra and it's applications and use it in a way no one thought possible to produce mind boggling results. Hence, the story will be paced a bit slowly but he will also be absurdly op in the future, not because of cheats, but because he is a scientist, and to a scientist having time, information and a good brain is all that's required, all of which our MC, Kagaku has due to his previous life!
