This is a short background story I wrote for the parents of one of my characters. It's not fully completed but I think I lifer it at a pretty good place.
It's about a dark elf who stumbles across a human in the forest and gets stuck with her for a week. Well, basically. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this if you read it!

The adventures of a princess turned dragon
I made this when I was younger and decided to release my old work into this to the world. I didn't plan a storyline so this maybe have crazy tone shifts. (Making her naive to the cruelty of the world.) She always wanted to see the world outside of the castle. Though everyone saw her as a weak helpless princess that needs to be protected, and hidden from the cruel world she desperately wants to see with her blue eyes. A witch shows up one late after noon and offers her magic mirror, that can show her the outside world from just looking into it. She only needs to imagine the place she wants to see and will be there. The princess though was being a jerk so the witch cursed the mirror. Making it so that the princess ever looked into it, she will become a fearsome dragon. "The princess will no longer be a princess and she will see the world she desperately wants to see.
