Love is so perfect for the 2 best friends, Jordan and Emma. Tragedy strikes hard and leaves Emma alone. She packs everything up and heads off on her own. She takes up to drinking and meets her new best friend Abigail. Abi shows Emma that life doesn't end when something goes wrong. Abi reminds Emma of life and love. Emma learns to love again but she can't break away from Jordan. That is, until she meets Abigail's brother, Brody. How can one stranger be so similar to Jordan but be a completely different person? It's what he promised his father and himself, even if it means he has to pretend to care for her. All he cares is his family business. At least it's what he tells himself, until the feelings start getting too mixed and he ends up thinking of her more than he should. Maybe it's not all about business after all. He knows their history started before she even knows, what he didn't expect was for her to be so different from what he has always believed.
