Au XVIIIe siècle, dans l'Océan Indien, des marins hollandais croisent sur leur route un vaisseau fantôme, dont l'équipage a été crucifié sur les haubans. De nos jours, alors qu'il inspecte des installations pétrolières dans le désert du Néguev, Brian, un technicien irlandais, est victime d'une explosion. Il se réveille dans les profondeurs d'une grotte où, malgré ses blessures, il déniche, entre deux squelettes, le journal que tenait le médecin du navire batave... 

À sa sortie de l'hôpital, il rencontre Leah, la sœur de son ami David : elle vient de faire traduire le manuscrit et lui en révèle toute l'importance. Dès lors, les trois jeunes gens partent dans un long périple qui les conduira à Amsterdam puis en Egypte, sur les traces d'une secte disparue, afin de retrouver de mystérieux médaillons censés ouvrir une porte sacrée. Celle-ci mène-t-elle à l'Enfer ou au Paradis ?

The next day, he gave her a tempting offer in which she couldn't refuse and that's helping her get the revenge she wanted from her uncle who sent assassins to kill the dad. And also, to accept the apology she had given to him. Without reading the contract, she hurriedly signed the documents. Not knowing, the deal she was accepting from the devil himself. This story contains sex, suicide, tears, Arson and strong use of vulgar words. Read at your own risk and discretion. Do not say I didn't warn you to avoid issues that may arise. In September 2000 events in Israel had a big effect on my life. For the next few years Israel was targeted by scores of Palestinian suicide bombers who detonated deadly suicide belts packed with not only explosives but also schrapnel. There was no way of knowing when the next one would strike, be it on buses, cafes, restaurants or wherever crowds of people congretated. On June 1st a bomb struck a crowd of youngsters outside a disco in Tel Aviv. One young girl who lay injured told the paramedic "we shall not stop dancing". For some reason I still remembered those brave words years later. It was then that I decided to write a book about a fictional bombing in Tel Aviv. One of the biggest reasons for this was not generated by any political belief but to specifically show that despite everything that was thrown at them Israelis simply carried on living their lives. The book title comes from the brave words of the injured young girl. It will take you through just another regular day of 12 very different people, most of them unaware that it will be their last day.
