Escaping the Normal

Kat is a 17 year old girl from Seattle, Washington, where she lives in a cozy apartment along with her mother. After an unfortunate encounter in her school Library, she is reconnected with a childhood friend. Little did she know that they would create an unbreakable bond very suddenly. At first she is reluctant to acknowledge her feelings but soon realizes that he might be just what she has needed for quite a long time. This short story takes you on various adventures across the Pacific Northwest with Katerina and Jason, the mysterious and adventurous blue eyed boy that just may end up changing her whole life.
