Maggie Delaney thought she had everything. Maggie moved back to her hometown with her family not remembering anything about it, just to get away from her old life the past that brutally affected her. Over the course of the summer, she experienced heartbreaks, deaths, and even trauma. Maggie thought she was done with her life, that she would get nowhere over those tragic incidents but she found that moving to a new house and a new environment brought her the true happiness Maggie yearned for. Maggie didn't realize she would ever get this happiness again or these new friends and potentially another lover. The minute she starts her senior year of high school everything starts to fall apart again. Her ex-boyfriend Sean Bennington transfers to the same school, with thoughts of winning her back. Maggie didn't regret the choices she had over the summer which was finding someone else, Carter Ashford. she was happy with him now and nothing can change that until Maggie realizes that the love of her life and her ex are mysteriously hiding things from her she wants the truth that Maggie feels she'll never receive. The final stage is deciding whether Maggie chooses one of them or none of them at all, will it be her ex-boyfriend Sean from back home or this mysterious guy Carter that changed her world?
