It was beautiful and perfect, too perfect. For the blue began to fade. Imagine a night with no stars, no moon, and no light spent all alone. That's what became of the glorious light that I thought had saved me in the darkest of times. In the end, all light fades, just as day turns to night.
I'm still working on this story, more will be added to each section. Let me know how you feel about it. Please comment, I'd love to know how to make it better.

The blood had already leaked down my forehead, but I kept my eyes on Shane and tried to blink quickly to clear my vision. "Hang on, please. Please hang on."
