Madly, Deeply

I used to be a strong person. I used to have dreams and goals I was striving towards. That all ceased to exist when my depression finally won in the power struggle and consumed me. My every waking thought and action was controlled by my depression.

Just like everyday I would go to work, come home, wallow in my misery, and repeat the same thing the next day.

On my way home from work that night I expected to come home and throw myself yet another pity party.

I would soon find out that my party would need to be rescheduled when an unexpected encounter happens.

Who knew hybrids were a real thing?
