People say that when you fall asleep it feels like seconds until you wake up again. Not for me. I can go to sleep one night and wake up days later. It's never taken more than a week, but the dreams are getting longer and longer. Not to mention the dreams keep getting progressively more terrifying, to the point where I fear going to bed at night. But what if one night, I go to sleep and never wake up? What if........ the dreams aren't fiction?

"Aren't you cocky," I replied, trying to stand my ground. Gripping tighter on my waist, he hummed against my ear once again. "I'm getting impatient, Alex. Cut the crap. Say yes already so we can put this past us. I already know I can get you to say Yes," and in a barely audible voice, I heard him say, "I know your weakness". "Now, what weakness could that be-" I didn't even get to finish my sentence before a set of teeth sank into the sensitive flesh of my neck, sending an unexpected wave of pleasure through me. She relives the same dream several times but with different outcomes. What happens when Patience is no longer dreaming but believes she is? Contains adult content! You have been warned! (Just a note: This book didn't exactly have a lot of time spent on it and it can be quite confusing. If you guys want I'd love for you to point out where I can fix things and how. I also know it's short, but this has been something that I've wanted to get out there. This was a story that originally had a place to go, but I decided to just go with whatever came to mind. I really think that this story has an impact on myself because of the subjects related. I would not take the description as a way to judge what the story will be like because they are completely different. The story deals with a girl with mental health issues or issues with her dream that cause her to repeat dreams just from a different perspective. I have been suffering from issues with my dreams actually meaning something and I really think this story hits close to home for me. I really hope you like it!)Complete

But to my surprise, the car swerves to the side slightly next to me and comes to a stop. I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."Complete

"Please, I need some explanation." I beg. I stay still as he stops dead in his tracks. His body is tense and it's scarring me. He turns around slowly to face me with his hands at his sides. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.Complete

All I've ever known is fear, and a strange dream...a reoccurring nightmare, where someone is hunting me, chasing me, never gaining or receding, in a strange place where everything is bathed in an orange hue. I live in a grey world where everyone is the same....if anyone finds out I'm not 'normal', it will mean a trip to the 'mind doctor, who I fear more than the nightmares. I could lose what little independence I have...it's all I own, all I am. Until one day, the dream finds me... I wake from the latest nightmare, and find a note warning of danger, and that 'they' are coming. When I wake and hear someone speaking - that I can't see, but can feel...who tells me that I am not who I think I am....I have nowhere to run... Should I listen? Wait? Geovanni Have you ever gotten that feeling that somebody was watching you? And that person who was watching you wasn't normal. I have felt that way all of my life; but then again I felt as if I went missing nobody would even notice or care I was gone. I am 23 and just graduated from college. I was there an extra year because I had to take care of my family. I had to transfer back into the city and pick up the extra work because my mom died, and my dad became addicted to anything that would numb his pain. My little sister and brother would be lost without me here. But now I could care less. A cold breeze blew through my window waking me up from my thoughts. I looked over in the corner and saw that nothing was there. It was odd because I felt like someone well more like something was there. It had to be my imagination getting the best of me. I laid back in my bed and closed my eyes. Then all of a sudden I got the feeling I wasn't alone. But the really strange thing is that even if there was someone in here with me I felt safe. Jordan. I watched her as she slept. In fact I have been watching her since she was born. I have waited half a century to find that one person. I think I have finally settled on her. She was my choice. I know. After being in as many relationships as I have you know things. I felt my fangs tingle. Her blood smelled so sweet. Her heartbeat was steady and strong. I took my tongue and ran it across my fang. The temptation to indulge in her red liquid was far too strong. I let out a low growl and jumped out her window. I was ready for a hunt. "Did you see her Jordan?" "Yes, and tomorrow night you will turn her," "Why do I have to turn her?" "Ezra, you know once you turn them, they hate you," "I didn't hate pops," "You wanted to join though," "True, but first see if she wants to be turn before you jump to conclusions," I nodded my head, before me and Ezra took off to find some fresh blood for the night.
