17-year-old Sidney Brooks never experienced true pain and heartache until her senior year in high school. Sidney was born to two wealthy, successful parents, has a semi-perfect boyfriend, and has been accepted to go to the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City as a dance student. But, during her senior year, she loses all of that. She starts to think that she has lost everything she loved, and there is nothing else to lose.
