In the wake of Mount Weather's demise, Arkadia struggles to survive. Jaha never discovered the city of light. Praimfaya never happened. Instead of trying to defeat A.L.I.E and prepare for another nuclear disaster, they're attempting to move forward in their colonization of the Ground. Tensions remain high between the different clans and after the discovery of Ark prisoners in Ice Nation territory, hostility grows even more. Bellamy however, has different issues in front of him. One of the prisoners happens to catch his attention. A look into life after extreme loss and the continuance of the human spirit in the aftermath of tragedy. *An alternate version of season 3*

Prisoner. That's all I'd been referred to as for the past seven years - I've almost forgotten my name. But I'm not a prisoner anymore. I've been given a second chance. A chance to start anew. On Earth. For three generations, the Ark has kept what's left of the human race alive, but now our home is dying, and we are the last hope of mankind. A hundred prisoners sent on a desperate mission to the ground. Each of us is here because we broke the law. On the ground, there is no law. All we have to do is survive, but we will be tested by the Earth, by the secrets it hides, and most of all by each other.
