(Castiel x Reader Fic) I'm sitting here flowing with ideas and hoping these actually stay with me. I'm not even an incredible fan of Castiel, but honestly I'm growing a love for him. You run a successful business, and have a heart of stone. Your entire life, you promise yourself that you will not get close to anyone. You've been abandoned by your parents, with the simple explanation that they did not love you, and your lack of human connection has driven you up the business track to where you are now, but with some unexpected visitors, your whole word is going to change. This is going to probably go through some editing over time, and suggestions would also be appreciated while I'm writing this. I want to keep the spark going for this work. Roommates
Dean's about to start medical school and he has been assigned a dorm room. With a roommate. As he and Sam head up to his new room he gets an ominous warning from the guy down the hall about Dean's new roommate. It unnerves Sam, but Dean thinks the guy can't be that bad. Right? Dean and Sam grew up happy with BOTH parents in this one. I thought about how to approach this one for quite a while before I actually started writing it. I thought, how can I get this to make sense? Why would a roommate run away? And then this came to me. So, for those of you that don't know, I based a lot of Cas' personality, quirks, and traits on myself since I have Asperger's. While I don't color coordinate my shirts in the closet, they DO have to all face the same direction, and I have more sensory issues than I'll bore you with here. I mention Dean's sensory issues as well here. While he doesn't show actual traits of Asperger's, he's on the spectrum too, and people on the spectrum still have related issues. The bluntness of Cas' questions are something that I did more often when I was younger, and a reason why people singled me out as weird or a freak. I had great difficulty distinguishing between when people were joking and making fun of me (therefore people thought I was stupid, and I was called as much, despite my higher IQ), so I tended to keep to myself. I still have difficulty initiating conversations, and my reaction to going into places like the party that will be mentioned here is much the same as I made Cas react. Who's Cas?
This is the first story that I'm actually showing people I don't know. I mostly just write privately but basically for Supernatural fans, this is about Castiel getting hit with a deaging spell and the boys have to take care of him while they look for the witch. As a side effect of the spell, Cas starts to lose his memories and reverts back into a fledgling. *I do not own the characters from supernatural* It's not really set in any kind of season, Bobby's still there at his house but it's long after the apocalypse, I even have Claire there too. A Fluffy lil Destiel fix-it (the interim between 15x19 and 15x20) "Cas. You're...beautiful. So fucking beautiful. Can I...?" Dean finally broke the silence between them and reached out to touch the raven black feathers of Castiel's wings, breaking Cas out of his melancholy trance entirely with those few simple words. Cas nodded, bringing his shining blue eyes back up to make contact with Dean's bright green ones, and Dean was immediately lost in their glowing, celestial depth. The moment was euphoric for them both as they allowed themselves to feel, stripped down to raw emotion.
