this wasn't meant to turn deep when I began writing it, but oH boy did it turn deep.
i'm in no way used to this type of writing, so some feedback would be much appreciated!


if you're in any sense feeling bad at the moment, you can reach out. to me, to friends, to adults, to professionals. because, like alice, you can run for a bit, but know that you'll eventually have to catch your breath.

A woman (who had kids and a husband) had lost her life. This initially started a spiral of thoughts leading to the creation of this story. There are a lot of mirroring qualities between my life and Maribell's, but unlike the lovely woman who had passed (I personally don't know her, but may she rest in peace), I don't have kids or a significant other, so I had to put my own spin on things. I also added in texting and driving, because the combination is unsafe. May you find this story to be as eye opening as I did when I wrote it! Comments and votes are welcomed and encouraged. I have decided to force myself to write every day. I've tried to start a novel countless times, so I have reached the conclusion that it's better to write short stories. I was looking for Short Story challenges to make it exiting, and I found one that I liked; writing one micro fiction story each day, it doesn't matter how many words it has or what it is about, but, I have to finish one every day. I decided this was the best moment to start, it being march of 2020, and me being in quarantine with nothing to do. This is why this book exists, each day I will write a piece of micro-fiction and post it in this book. I believe that I will get better through time if I follow this challenge. Some day I may decide to stop it, though hopefully it will be in a long time.
