"All cats are grey in the dark." This is a proverb. It means that in the dark, you can't tell one cat from another. In a figurative sense, it could also mean that someone who has too little information can't properly assess the situation. They can't distinguish between good and evil. When the Demon King died, the black line separating good and evil was broken. Demons find themselves, demons seek themselves. Demons are evil, demons are good. Demons remain lonely, demons find the family they didn't know they were searching. But how can you tell them apart if you can't see in the darkness?
