A. Wade Anderson is an orphan genius who was raised by his loving adoptive parents that where extraordinary intelligent themselves. Unfortunately, they also die under suspicious circumstances while Wade was a teenager and away at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology studying computer science and electronic engineering.

Confused and hurting from his loss, Wade is determined to find out what happened to both sets of his parents but gets very little cooperation from the authorities and even hostility from the United States government when he begins asking too many questions. This only drives his determination more and prompts him to use his cyber skills and high intelligence to design a sophisticated snooper program like no-other, ARI. Auto Regenerating Intelligence, code name "ARI" is a terrific success, even more than Wade could imagine. It eventually uncovers what happened to both sets of his parents, however the knowledge comes with unsettling consequences.

With the help of ARI, the intelligence it gathers and his own unwavering persistence, Anderson builds a technological empire that rockets him to the status of the richest person in the world. Making use of his wealth, technology and strong relationship with his remaining adoptive family members, Wade does everything in his power to bring justice to his parents killers and to help his government protect the country he loves.
