Romance
Amilee Hunt is a hard working, dedicated assistant; and is completely in love with her boss, David Ashbur. She always considered him her best friend, until one day he springs on her a secret he has been keeping from her and her whole world is shattered. Amilee decides to try to drown her sorrows away at the bar, only to meet a beast of a man who is going through his own troubles. Tate Anderson is the owner and CEO of Anderson Corps. He built the company with his own hands and nothing stands in his way when he wants something. Except when he comes home to find his fiance' in bed with another man. Hurt, defeated, and mostly misunderstood, Tate is dragged to the bar by his assistant and best friend, Ryan. Ryan's attempts to cheer him up just make him more agitated. He wonders over to the bar to be alone when he watches this tiny woman come up and sit at the bar, obviously in as much misery as he is in. What happens when Tate and Amilee take comfort in each other's company and spend the rest of the night drinking together to the point they black out and wake up... married?! How will they deal with their mistake? Or will feelings start to grow into something more?

*Heartbreak, late-night drinks, and an unexpected connection-Evi never thought the bouncer at her favorite bar would be the one to save her from herself. After a messy breakup with her ex, Evi is determined to drown her sorrows the best way she knows how: with her best friend, a few too many drinks, and a night at their go-to bar. She's not looking for advice. She's definitely not looking for sympathy. And she's absolutely not looking for Max-the overbearing but annoyingly attractive bouncer who keeps getting in her way. But when an explosive fight with her ex gets her thrown out of the bar, Evi finds herself stuck outside, angry, and alone. Max doesn't let her back in. Instead, he does something worse. He takes her home. Evi doesn't need saving. She doesn't need someone looking out for her. But as the nights go on, she starts to realize that maybe, just maybe, Max isn't the enemy. Maybe he's something else entirely. A slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers romance with tension, banter, and one unforgettable kiss-this is a story about finding love where you least expect it.
