Clasp of life
I was scheduled to die in less than 24hrs from now. And the person who conspires to put me out of my miserable life is the one who put me through hell. His hell. My husband. I didn't mind dying. I was rather happy to finally get this thing over with. You know, get over life. But just when I was ready to rest in peace, I met her. Her beautiful blue eyes glittered with tears bringing light to this moonless night. The cold breeze brought a shiver to her fragile tiny body. She looked nothing less than a porcelain doll, delicate and clean. But she scared me when she looked at me with hope. Hope to save her. I laughed at this naive little girl. How was I to save her when I couldn't save myself? Nevertheless, I extended my hand for her to take, and with some hesitation, she wrapped her whole hand around my one finger. First time in my meaningless life I felt a spark. Spark of life enlightened in me with her one innocent touch. She made me want to live a little while longer with a small innocent promise, holding me tight to live with her, for her. Cover by @AphroditelividComplete

Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. I am putting this out for the whole world to see because I hope everyone will learn from my experience. People can see. We have no excuses to continue living our lives in ignorance. ...WARNING... Tempted
I held her waist to keep her from falling I knew she was female from her petite waist. I looked down at her, her hazel green eyes captivating me, I was so lost in her eyes all the noise around us seemed to diminish. My breathe was caught in my throat just by looking at her beauty. I tore my eyes away from hers and looked at her face, she was the most beautiful thing in the world! Her black hair hung just below her shoulders her small frame was perfect, she was gorgeous. I wanted, no needed her to be mine. She was mine, she was my mate and she was perfect. She stepped away from my arms I held the urge to just grab her body and bring it back to mine. "Hi...are you Ryder?" Her angelic voice questioned. "Uh yeah you are?" You are mine I thought. "I'm Destiny your cousin." My world seemed to have fallen apart with those four simple words.Complete

I know you heard me Amara, Is she, Is Lily, Mine?" "Asher" I whispered, taking a further step out onto the balcony, I closed the door behind me "No Amara, She looks like me, so just tell me the truth ok, she is my fucking daughter isn't she" "Yes" I let the words fall out of my mouth "Yes Asher, She is yours" "What the fuck Amara" His voice was loud, his face twisted in anger,Complete
