Ninety-nine years ago, Faine Libet made a deal to save the life of someone she cared dearly for. One hundred years of service at a crime guild in the land of Pinedon. Four months left before her deal is over and Faine is assigned one last mission: infiltrate another crime guild, one stronger and more renowned than their own. There, she meets an entire group of fighters just like her, Ilian Renaut included. A mortal man that never once received the chances he deserved.

Faine is close to freedom, but can't taste it. Every decision she makes is carefully watched by her boss, a man willing to turn her life around with every opportunity.
