This book is about how Dean had to run away from his family, and hide from them due to his parents being on his tail. He ran away from Dean due to his parents being abusers and his father being in the government to keep his kind a secret to the human world. FNS(Familiar National Society) is people that make sure that the specie is kept secret from humans, and covers it up when a rogue familiar kills another human.
Dean does have some family that cares for him and that he rants to only one problem that stands between him and his other family members. His parents. He has a bitchy attitude that barely anyone likes other than his human friend, Chase Telvanne. Dean doesn't really deal with people getting on his ass but does be a bitch and well......his bitchiness does get him in trouble at school most of the time.
When his father comes over to his apartment, his world turned upside down. He has to go deal with a family reunion with his "loving" family, but when he does; he found his childhood friend, and the pack he visited when he was trying to stay away from his family.
Something bad happened during one day and Dean was taken, the pack was hurt and something bad will, probably, happen in the end.
Will Dean get back to his mate before something bad happen? Or will it be to late to save his mate?
