Dear Journal I love my History teacher. I freaking love my History teacher. Out of all the things I could have possibly done this has to take the cake. Oh I must say that I am sorry for not keeping in touch for the past week. But I have the perfect excuse as you can see at the top of my entry that I have fallen in love with my History teacher. But not the point I must thank you for not making your presence known to my brother because I would not have heard the end of it. And I hope you can forgive me because I do love writing to you. Now that's the end of my entry because as you can see am going through a little dilemma. So am gonna throw myself on my bed, grab a pillow and squeal or scream. Maybe they will mix. It happens in moments like this. The scream will be OH MY FREAKING GOD AM IN LOVE WITH MY FUDGING HISTORY TEACHER and the squeal will be OH MY GOD AM IN LOVE WITH MY HOT, SEXY, CUTE, CUTE, SMART, GLASSES WEARING TEACHER. LIKE DAMN. So yeah that will be me. I'll be seeing you in like a couple more days when I have some news to give cause come on my life is freaking amazing I mean like movie worthy a bestseller all them shiz. So bye now. Peace. Zira Larson and Kayden Dean both on the other side of the teachers desk.

My whole life is 'have to.' I have to work full-time to pay the bills and keep food on the table. I have to finish college for a chance at a better job, no matter how long it takes. I have to manage my mom's sobriety so I can keep her out of jail. I have to keep a smile on my face, so no one knows how hard it's been. Now, I have to ignore the curious feelings that flutter in my chest whenever my devastatingly handsome new English professor, Fitzwilliam Benedict, is nearby. Of course, that's kind of impossible because I have to face his storm-tossed eyes and broad shoulders in class every other evening if I want to graduate with my perfect grade-point intact. And it's getting harder to ignore the way his thoughtful gaze sees all the way down to the truth I don't want anyone to know. Our kismet connection is a major complication that could torpedo everything I've worked for...Or this could be the most valuable lesson, ever. 📚🎓 Just a heads up that this isn't fully edited (yet), so you may notice typos or spelling errors! I'm doing my bets (I hope at least some of you got that joke!!) to correct as I go...but you know how it goes, when you get on a roll you sometimes miss things 🙃
