Mackenzie is the smartest girl in school. Never missed a day, always got top grades, loving parents who watch over her like a hawk, and she can’t think of anything worse. The thing is… She’s a boxer. Secretly, she’s been going to the ring when she said she was studying at the library and on one morning, she wished she never went. Because he was there. Because he brought back too many memories. Dan is the man! Captain of the football team, dating the head cheerleader, grades are on the average. His life couldn’t get any better... Or so everyone thinks. Behind closed doors, it’s like trying to tame a pissed off Mustang. Then one day, heading off to the gym, he saw her. Mackenzie and Dan can’t be together. She’s the nerd who nobody likes and he’s the jock who everyone worships. It’s social suicide! This story is about friendship, trust, and a little bit of romance. But sometimes everybody needs a little bit of a push.
