Doughy -
Seventeen Soonyoung X Jihoon / Hoshi X Woozi
The pitter-patter of raindrops made a rhythmic beat of taps.
He kneaded at the dough, thinking of the moments where he and his ex-boyfriend would record in his silent studio. His constant yelling, and strictness as he tries to make everything as perfect as possible. Neither he nor Soonyoung could get enough of the relationship, until one day, Jihoon suddenly stopped. He left the kpop industry, and with that, Soonyoung as well.
A strike of thunder echoed, and the walls seemed to shake, Jihoon's grip on the bread dough tightened, and he let out an exasperated sigh. He stared at the dough, which he had just finished kneading. He takes his hands from the dough and board, wiping them on his apron as he searched around for a bowl. Which he soaks in olive oil and caringly placed the bread inside. He whistles a familiar tune, high and low notes. The slow, yet beautiful song brought back more memories. Memories where Soonyoung cried and Seungcheol swore to find him again. The only person he spoke to freely of his location was Seungkwan, feeling he could trust his old team-subunit's maknae. The miserable sobs which escaped Soonyoung's lips, even if they were just a memory, felt almost like torture. But he kept going, leaving behind the studio, his love, the company, the dorms, and the music industry all in one fell swoop.
Did he regret this? Maybe, but he had one thing that made him keep going. One thing that helped him fix his life.
Soonhoon, his son- or what he liked to think was his son. In reality, it was his and Soonyoung's pet hamster which they had gotten as a 'fur-baby' during their relationship. He sighed happily, changing Soonhoon's water bottle and refilling his food bowl.
He'll keep going, even if it's just for him.
