"As you can see, I have something I believe you may want back, though I suppose that is up for speculation." He said as he grabbed Cap's chin, turning his face from side to side. The Examiner gave a long thoughtful noise.
Steve jerked his face out of the man's grip. It wasn't until the man stepped away, that Tony could see that Steve was completely relying on his right leg. His left didn't seem to be bearing any weight at all.
"Well, let's not dwell on assumptions, hm? If you don't want him back, I'm sure I could find something to do with him."

Steve is captured by the underground terrorist group Sygma. They are willing to release to the Captain, but at a high ransom price, one the U.S. government might not be willing to pay. While the Avenger's work to find a way to get him back, Steve is subjected to experiments that make him question his own strength. When it appears he may have been sold out by someone whom he considers a friend, Captain America begins falling away to be replaced by a very broken Steve Rogers.
"A Tortured Soul" contains shameless Steve Whump and family Avengers. The team struggles to find out if they have a traitor in the gang. With everything going on, will they rescue their Captain before he succumbs to torture? Even if they do, will he ever be the same?

Steve made the choice to break he out as well and they could go on the run together. What Steve didn't expect was get have his feelings for Romy Michaels to bubble up to the surface so fast. Being on the run and in love isn't easy. Can Steve and Romy make it work without getting caught by Ross for both of their crimes against him. Pain. That was all he knew now. Peter Parker had gotten over the fact that he would never be normal. The whole accords situation, vulture. It was all too much and had started to get to him. Peter got to stay in Avengers tower, and would go on the OCCASIONAL mission with the team, (luckily everyone had made up. Steve and Tony still had problems, but had almost managed to work them out) but mostly he just stayed there for the company, and it just made things better. He liked Mr. Stark. He was like a father to him and,( though he would never admit it) loved him like one. One day when Peter goes to his aunt's apartment, he is taken by someone. He doesn't know who. He doesn't know where. And he doesn't know WHY. Pain. That was all he knew now. Will the Avengers be able to find him? And if they do... Will he be OK? The Weight of Grief
It's almost funny. How grief sneaks up on you. One second, you're fine; you're coping well and then it hits you like a bullet, tearing right through your heart, almost killing you on the spot. Grief is a monster that lies dormant in the darkest quarters of your mind, growing stronger and stronger until you can't fight anymore. Until you can't breathe. Peter was fractured. The monster having grown too big, and without any support left to hold him up, the world of drugs dug its claws into him. And it was slowly killing him, like a sickly sweet poison that dulled the pain while quietly feeding on his soul. He was powerless to stop it. He was too tired to stop it. Tony was doing pretty good. Aside from having died, he was doing pretty good. Resurrected from the dead, check. Thanos dead, check. Wife and daughter thriving, check. He'd never expected to get his life back, that was for sure. He was thankful for the second chance. Unfortunately, Tony was quick to discover that the kid had all but lost his own life. It felt like a knife slowly twisting into his chest every time he saw the kid: in agony. Now Tony wasn't exactly the poster-child for a good emotional support figure, but he wasn't about to sit back and let this continue. No matter how hard the kid fought him, no matter how much resistance he was met with, Tony would help the kid. Still, he couldn't help the fear that laced his blood.
