SOAR - Spitting On A Rose She steps out. She smiles. She sees her family after a year and a half. She spots a man standing behind them. She frowns. She doesn't recognise. She ignores and turns to her family, doing the ultimate trust fall on them. They catch them. But with false arms. Romana Yusuf. The girl who feels lost but doesn't remember what exactly was missing in her life. She believed in the memories her family treasured for her. These were what she would live on. If they were planning to tell her everything she had forgotten in the first place.... But little did she know, every idea had its own faultfinder, just as a rose has its own thorns. Being brainwashed by a facility centre called PROMIS, this centre decided to blame her 'mental illnesses' for losing her treasured memories. Then she meets Mr Adam Samuels, the only lying spiteful but interestingly handsome idiot, who hated her from the start and Romana doesn't know why. She didn't understand what she possibly could have done for a guy like him to hate her so much. But this horrible man also tells her a story. A story she didn't expect to hear from him. Who should she trust? The devil in disguise? Or the family that kept her in the dark?

"I'm so sorry," she said, but there was no fear in her voice. "I wasn't looking where I was going." I clenched my jaw. "You should have been." To my surprise, she didn't back down. "Well, maybe you should watch where you're going, too. It's not like I did this on purpose." I stopped, stunned. "Do you have any idea who you're speaking to?" Her eyes didn't flinch. "Yes, I do. And I don't care. I'm not going to stand here while you blame me." I was taken aback. Most people would've cowered, but she didn't. "Next time, be more careful," I said, colder now. "I will," she replied, "And maybe don't judge so quickly." ***** Zahra is a kind, fierce, and hardworking woman who is deeply dedicated to her religion. As a hijabi, she maintains a strong sense of faith and self-respect, and her unwavering determination to do right by her values makes her both compassionate and savage when necessary. Rashid Khan, on the other hand, is a notorious mafia boss feared across all of Asia. Cold, calculating, and intimidating, he's used to being in control, and his ruthless demeanor keeps everyone around him in check. When they are arranged to marry, their worlds collide. Zahra's fiery independence and strong beliefs challenge Rashid's dominance and cold control. Neither is willing to back down, creating a tension-filled dynamic. Will Zahra's strength break through Rashid's hardened exterior, or will their clash of wills tear them apart? Anyone can read it! Please note: This book includes mature themes, including depictions of violence and the use of explicit language.
