Dianne and Joe live on separate sides of the dorm building and have only shared the occasional hello or good morning.
Certain events cause Joe and his room mate Caspar to move into the dorm room across the corridor from Dianne.
Joe thought Dianne was the cutest girl he had met and always felt butterflies in his stomach when he saw her.
Dianne however had a boyfriend who she had been with for 8 months but things are rocky in their relationship and she perhaps needs an extra shoulder to lean on.
Zoe knows Joe has a crush on Dianne and is trying to get them together but with Dianne having a boyfriend and Joe living on the other side of the dorm building it proved difficult.

Off-Camera (Joanne)
Although we saw Joe and Dianne fall in love on the dancefloor, we also saw them grow closer off of it. Their reaction videos allowed Joe and Dianne the opportunity to spend more time together, reflect on their dances, laugh at themselves, and strengthen their bond even more. But there was a lot that we didn't get to see from those videos, so this is my interpretation of Joe and Dianne's love story, based around the reaction videos that they filmed for each routine. Bear in mind that this story isn't going to be totally accurate (after all, nobody - apart from Joe and Dianne, obviously - know how they actually got together) and there may be some errors/inconsistencies along the way. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy the story; and remember that all feedback is appreciated!Complete
