Creatures in the form of vapour, spirits as called by some. Imperials. The gift from the planet of Amazonia to its people, the elementals. The creatures presenting themselves to only those who are worthy of their trust, forming an unbreakable bond, providing their bound partner with power and enhancements.
The planet consists of six islands, three of which inhabited by elementals, earth, fire and wind, the seas below inhabited by those of water. When the elementals come of age at sixteen years old, they have the chance to bond with an Imperial. One chance. The greatest gift.
Aria comes of age and presents herself to the spirits. The planet granting her with not one, but two elementals. Double the power, double the trouble. Will Aria make it out alive when people are out to make her disappear? Is two imperials really a good thing? Or is it her signature on a death warrant?
