[Photographs open doors into the past, but they also allow a look into the future.] - Sally Mann
The sound of a shot being fired is similar to the sound of a camera flash.
These are the stories of the Armed Detective Agency that nobody speaks of - the ones who loved, the ones who lost. The ones who lived to see the setting sun over Yokohama.

Dazai finally gets to talk to his old enemy, and treats him the same way as always, with his annoying remarks and jokes. However, with time Chuuya changes, but Dazai doesn't understand what happened to his old partner. (Y/n) (L/n) has returned to the Armed Detective Agency as a permanent member. Not only from the horrors and challenges she witnessed during the battle against the Guild, but also from the people she met and reunited with along the way. One of those people included the agency's own, Osamu Dazai. Now, (Y/n) faces a whole other set of challenges. She must now balance her growing social life with her work life - on top of that, she and Dazai must plan their wedding. But what happens when ghosts of the past come back to haunt her, not only in her dreams but in her life? Everything has resurfaced. - - - This is the final book in 'The Beauty of Water' series. I highly recommend reading the first two books before reading this one. All characters and plots from Bungo Stray Dogs do not belong to me and all credits go to their original owners. This is a Dazai x Rem!Reader, so I will be using she/her pronouns. Warning: There will be mentions of violence, torture, and suicide (have you met Dazai?) throughout this book. Memories of The Past
824, 880 people died that day but history won't remember a single one. Dazai, the strongest and most fearful executive ever to be known in the Port Mafia, who lived in the belly and shadows of the beast of Yokohama was watching as the city he loved so much fell apart around him. He watched as building split down the middle and fell on to the street cracking the streets and killing innocent by standers. Dazai saw everything he loved so dearly being ripped from him second by second. "Dazai watch out!" Odasaku said as he ran and jumped grabbing Dazai and they both tumbled to the ground as a building fell over beside them. "Shit that was close." Odasaku said sighing. But they weren't catching a break as another building fell over. Dazai? Kouyou-nee? Dazai said as he spoke back into his ear piece. Don't let that child stray too far away. He has destroyed enough of Yokohama. Hurry and cancel out his ability.Complete

While these two years were filled with normal good times--(Y/n) was itching to get back into the game. Lucky for her, Osamu Dazai just so happens to walk into the shop she has been working at during her time of absence--asking for her to help with something important going on in Yokohama. The time to unleash her special ability has come once again and her relationship with the suicidal detective has resumed. - - - This is the sequel to 'The Beauty of Water' and I highly recommend reading that before continuing with this book if you have not already read it. Call Out My Name β’ Dazai Osamu β
"When two suicidal people meet, there's no turning back," is what everyone in the Armed Detective Agency thought. Heck, that's what Dazai and Kira thought too. But it wasn't just the suicide thing that strung them together. Call it something cheesy like the Red String of Fate, no one would say no. β’ Dazai Osamu x OC β’ β’ Cover art by my bae, @marster_ β₯ β’ β’ 08.05.16 - 26.07.16 β’Complete
