Locket in Time: A Regency Time Travel Romance

Jas' reality? Rory, boring work, and painting the hall. Not romantic ... at all.

An accidental purchase of a lover's locket enables Jas to time travel back to its origins: the Regency era. Her excitement is short-lived, however, when she realizes she is not just an observer but is inhabiting the real lives of real, living people; people never mentioned in any of Jane Austen's novels; people whose lives are neither romantic nor elegant.

So much for fantasy.

Seeking romance in the Regency era seems like a hopeless case until, whilst unwittingly masquerading as the locket's recipient, Jas finally experiences the passion she has long fantasized about. Unfortunately, that love of a wealthy, passionate gentleman, although tempting, is not really hers to accept; she may only borrow it for a short while. Jas is faced with a choice which will affect not only her own future happiness, but also the happiness of those whose lives she has interfered with.

And then there's the whole other problem of returning to her own, boring 21st century life once she has cleaned up the mess she has created. Travel back to the future is neither as easy nor immediate as the travel into times past.
